It is acknowledged that RICO products are insured against everything except wilful intent, ageing, wear and war in the first 3 years. Here the facts in brief:

Insurance against unforeseeable damage especially due to:

Short-circuits, overcurrent or overvoltage
Theft or burglary
Fire, lightning or explosion
Damp and water
Storm, frost, ice or flooding
Design, material or execution defects where the RICO warranty does not apply

What damages are not insured?

Damage caused by wilful intent
Damage due to ageing or wear
Damage due to war, civil war, insurgence, nuclear energy and nuclear radiation
